Equanimity    Loving Kindness     Compassion     Sympathetic Joy

You are invited to participate in a two-part program at Nalandabodhi Halifax on the Four Immeasurables. This is an important practice of the Mahayana path.

Its objective is to train our minds in the four qualities of loving kindness, compassion, sympathetic joy, and equanimity in order to extend them to all beings.

Over the course of two Sundays, we will engage in practices that evoke the qualities of the Four Immeasurables and explore how we relate to these in our own experience. We will also identify obstacles encountered in developing these qualities, and spend time practicing specific antidotes. Participants are strongly encouraged to commit to both days.

This workshop will be facilitated by Catherine Slone, a longtime practitioner within the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, and student of Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche. Catherine is a Nalandabodhi practice instructor and a facilitator of the weekly mindfulness group Meeting of Minds.
